Roxatidine acetate hydrochloride CAS number 93793-83-0, It is a histamine H2 receptor antagonist, long-acting, well tolerated, no anti-androgenic effects, and does not hinder the drug metabolism of the liver. Since its approval in 1986, it has been listed in nine countries. The drug is deacetylated by hydrolysis and rapidly converted into the active metabolite rosartidine, which can selectively block histamine H2 receptor. It is mainly used for prevention and treatment of digestion due to high secretion of gastric acid. Systemic diseases, such as gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, anastomotic ulcer, reflux esophagitis, acute gastritis, acute gastritis episodes; also used for pre-anesthesia administration to prevent aspiration pneumonia.
Rosatidine acetate hydrochloride cas 93793-83-0 is a fat-soluble drug with high bioavailability (more than 95%). It deactivates the acetyl group in the small intestine, plasma and liver and rapidly transforms into the active metabolite roxatidine. Roxatidine acetate and its metabolite rosastatin can effectively, selectively and competitively block histamine H2 receptor; it can inhibit gastric acid secretion caused by basal gastric acid and stimulation, and can also inhibit pepsin.
