Product Description

Travoprost CAS number is 157283-68-6,which is a selective FP prostate receptor agonist that absorbs through the cornea,It can be quickly hydrolyzed by corneal esterases into biologically active free acids, which can be oxidatively metabolized to inactive metabolites during systemic metabolism. Biotransformation involves beta-oxidation of a carbonate chain to produce 1,2-diol, analog of 1,2,3,4-tetraol, partial oxidation of 15-hydroxyl, and reduction of 13,14 double bonds. The excretion of travoprost from the plasma is very rapid and usually falls below the limit within 1 hour after administration. By assessing the half-life of the final excretion of travoprost from multiple patients, less than 2% of travoprost is excreted from the urine within 4 hours.
The dose of travoprost CAS number 157283-68-6should not exceed 1 time per day because frequent use reduces the ocular hypotensive effect of the drug.
