Deutetrabenazine CAS number is 1392826-25-3, also known as Dutetrabenazine or Tetr abenazine-d6, developed code is SD-809. It is a novel vesicle monoamine transporter inhibitor. In 2017, researchers evaluated the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of Tetrabenazine-d6. The Phase III study was conducted at 75 medical centers in the United States and Europe. Patients with tardive dyskinesia between the ages of 18 and 80 were randomized to receive three doses of Deutetrabenazine or placebo at doses of 12 mg/d, 24 mg/d or 36 mg/d, respectively. All patients received oral Deutetrabenazine 12 mg/d for 4 weeks, after which randomized trials were started for 8 weeks. The primary endpoint was abnormal involuntary motor score change (AIMS). A total of 298 patients were enrolled in the study. Studies have shown that 24-37 mg of Deutetrabenazine cas 1392826-25-3 can significantly reduce tardive dyskinesia with high safety and tolerability.
