Micafungin cas number is 235114-32-6 which is Mainly used for refractory invasive fungal infection or can not tolerate other antifungal drug treatment of invasive candidiasis and invasive aspergillus infection, as well as receiving hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in patients with fungal infection prevention treatment. Micafungin is the second antibacterial drug approved by the FDA after the administration of canspofungin. The anti-fungal mechanism is the same as that of canspofungin. The drug has trong role to Candida albicans (including fluconazole Drug strains), Candida tropicalis, Candida glabrata, Candida albicans , but the poor role to smooth Candida. Aspergillus has antibacterial effect, no bactericidal effect. It also have a role to Pneumocystis. Cryptococcus, Fusarium, Trichosporon, bacteria is invalid. Mainly for the treatment of esophageal candidiasis and prevention of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in patients with Candida infection. This product is poor on oral absorption (about 3%), only intravenous administration. At the end of the infusion, the plasma concentration reached the maximum and the elimination half-life was 13.9 hours. The concentration of mecafenine was highest in the lung, liver, spleen and kidney tissues, but not in the cerebrospinal fluid.
